The first semester at the Game Design Program is dedicated to building table top games. Before they wrote one line of code, I wanted my students to understand what it means to plan a product, to create a game, to create a prototype made of paper, to iterate fast.
One of the best days in the first semester is the testing day. The students play each other's games and give feedbacks. There is so much that they can learn from this. The groups in the picture came up with some really cool games.
